"Kenny Harrison" (born "Kerry Harrison", February 13, 1965 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States) is a former track and field sportsperson/athlete competing in triple jump. The 1991 World triple jump Champion, his chances of competing in the Athletics at the 1992 Summer Olympics/1992 Olympics were ruined when he tore the cartilage in his knee. After recovering from surgery, Harrison bounded back to win the gold medal at the Athletics at the 1996 Summer Olympics/1996 Summer Olympics with a personal best, American and Olympic record of . This jump is notable for the fact that it is the longest jump ever with a negative wind reading (the athlete with the next best is Jonathan Edwards (athlete)/Jonathan Edwards with 17.79 meters). And the jump ranks Harrison as the second best triple jumper in history, only behind Edwards world record established a year earlier.

Chris and Angelo were very good players, but even better leaders. As good as they were on the field, and they were extremely good, their presence off the field is missed even more.

We have to try and not let the little things go by. It's the little things that win games. It's the little things that often get overlooked that can add two or three more wins.

This team knows how to win, I'm not worried about that. It's when we're down, or when things are out of line in the locker room, that's when a leader needs to step up.

I'm pretty comfortable in the starting pitchers. Our pitchers are ahead of the hitters. Will this be how it is all season? I hope so.

Angelo and Chris called the team back behind the dugout. I don't know what they talked about or what was said. We lost, 2-1, but when they came back you could tell how much everyone wanted to win.

It's something that you can't teach. It's something they have to already have.
