I had breakfast and then I went to bed about 7:30.

Some people might think that it was a bad time to come back into a game, but I thought it was great. I love the challenge. I love to be aggressive. Just go after people. Throw strikes. Get the job done.

My mechanics were good. I had command of my fastball ... I was changing speeds.

I tried to get the ball in the glove. I didn't have a chance. Everything seemed to go their way.

I'm more than happy. I'm ready to go. I wasn't thinking about my elbow. In my first two [rehab] starts, I walked too many.

A fastball inside, that's how you get him out. I didn't think it was a bad pitch.

I learned a lot last year. I learned that you can't get frustrated too often, because that will affect your pitching in a bad way. You have to be a professional.

I saw him running to first base, and he's not a fast guy. I thought I could tag him and not have to make a throw to first base. But he was quicker than I thought.

It has been a tough year and we've struggled at times, but we're still in first place and that is the bottom line. It is good to see us come from behind the last couple of nights. Hopefully we can keep doing that. We have some tough games coming up and hopefully we can make the playoffs.
