It prepared me, it always made me ski so much faster. I wanted to win but there were always so many boys that were so fast.

I was really excited, the girl in second (Alex Owen of Joel Barlow) was so close. I've raced her up north before. I knew I would have to pull off three good runs the second day.

After the second run, you know. You could have an awesome first run, but mess up so you need two good runs. This year my slalom has improved a lot. I was more confident in slalom than giant slalom.
