This has not dampened my enthusiasm for the game I have been in for over 20 years.
Crews from our street and solid waste departments are cleaning up the debris as fast as they can.
At lot of the time, people are putting stuff out behind us — they're bringing new debris to the street right-of-ways after our crews have been through their neighborhoods.
We ask that the residents of Lufkin try to be patient — it may seem like it's taking a long time, but there's still a lot of stuff out there that needs to be picked up.
We've been stockpiling fuel, just in case. We have enough on hand that we'll still be able to provide police and fire protection and public works assistance if there is a temporary shortage.

If there was a disease outbreak, within seconds we can trace the animal, the property it came from, and every movement the animal has made. It means the region can be isolated, while the rest of the country can keep trading.
