"Keith Alan Hopkins", better known by his stage name, "Keith West" was the lead singer of Tomorrow (band)/Tomorrow, a 1960s psychedelic Rock music/rock musical ensemble/band. West composer/composed most of the band's songs (duly credited to Keith Hopkins). Despite critical acclaim and support from BBC Radio 1 Disc jockey/DJ John Peel, who featured them on his The Perfumed Garden (radio show)/Perfumed Garden show, the band was not a commercial success.

In 1964, West became lead singer of "In Crowd" a rock band from London, which was then renamed Tomorrow. Another member of that earlier band (music)/band was the guitarist Steve Howe (guitarist)/Steve Howe (later Yes (band)/Yes). In 1967 West became acquainted with Mark Wirtz, a record producer/producer who had already created the instrumental title, "A Touch of Velvet, a Sting of Brass" (1965). Later on, the melody became the theme music for the Germany/German television programs, Beat-Club and Musikladen.

West himself is perhaps better known as a participant in Wirtz's A Teenage Opera. He was the singer of "Grocer Jack (Excerpt from A Teenage Opera)/Excerpt from A Teenage Opera", also known as "Grocer Jack", which reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1967.cite book

We didn't deserve the game last time. It was a fluke. This one we deserved. They're hard to beat here.

You're up 31-15, that sucker should be over, and then we give up a 10-0 run. That's all we talked about at halftime, was picking it up defensively.

He couldn't put it in the ocean all night. He usually is a great shooter, but tonight things just weren't going his way. He finally got a chance to set his feet and even though there was a man in his face, he made it. What else can you say?

If he's in the game he probably hits that final shot to win the game for them because he's a big-time player.

I'm flattered that people think we're a favorite, but it's not easy. It's hard to win state tournaments, and it's not always the best team who wins it. I know our kids are going to come out and play hard like everyone else.

We got about every shot we wanted, and they were going in.

It's a challenge, but we now what they're going to do, and we're prepared for it.

That's how it should be. The top two teams should be the ones playing for the championship.

We were really defending extremely well, we were getting out on their shooters and taking away their threes.
