This year, the games we've played well in, we've scored early. That's a credit to the top of our lineup. Those guys have consistently gotten on base and made things happen.

It was bang-bang on both of them. (On the first one) we brought Jason from first, that's a long trot but we were confident he would get there. He made the slide and avoided the tag. That's the kind of game this was, on both sides.

Both of those guys wanted the ball tonight. They got out there and made the most of it. It's good to see them have the success they did.

I don't know much about them. I've made a few phone calls and not had much luck. But we have to worry about us. If we take care of ourselves, that is all that matters.

I think our hitting has been our strong suit so far. We've swung the bats and we've been aggressive. We're playing good ball and the kids are executing all that we've asked of them.
