I think we all really enjoyed both the dynamic personalities and active debate during the panel.

All three were highly supportive of wind power and are interested in reaching an economically satisfactory arrangement to increase the amount of renewable energy powering this campus.

It is easy for us as students to leave on the light when we exit a room, or let the computer stay on stand-by rather than hibernate without thinking of the environmental or even economic consequences of our actions.

We had been selling propeller hats as a way for students to show their support for wind power. Many of the school's administrators even bought hats for friends and family, giving us a chance to talk to them about our efforts.

It is easy for students to fall into the pattern of daily activities here. Whether it is the third floor of McCabe, Cornell basement or Hicks lounge, we spend an awful lot of time indoors, despite our beautiful campus.
