I was guarding her, and I wasn't expecting her to throw up those threes, but she did.
I just didn't think she was going to take it. It came out of nowhere, and she made it. I was pretty surprised on that one.
Nothing to me seems insurmountable. We can always find a way to reach a goal. I have never thought, 'I can't do that.' It was a question of how was I going to do that.
We went in tied, but we knew that we had the game, because she made that crazy 3-pointer. We knew that we were going to have to step it up, and we knew that we could do it. We came back out after halftime pretty confident.
That was our plan, to just get her tired out, and slow her down by the end of the game.
You can't deny where we're located. We do have the beginnings of gang activity. We do have some inner city issues, (which) if we want to make this a welcoming cultural center have to be addressed.
We've just never had one here. A lot of us are musically oriented. We thought it would be fun to do it.
