"Karen Sue Wheeler" is an American artist who was born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She uses a technique called "layering" that resembles colored pencil. Each painting that she produces takes from 150–500 hours to complete.

We have spent hundreds of people hours up to this point and without even involving the teacher committees. It has been an expensive endeavor in terms of staff and faculty time.

We're getting into several of the sciences that had not been delved into before.

We would hope that it would increase the number of transfers who complete baccalaureate degrees. That is always our goal — to increase our retention and graduation rates and to make education more seamless.

The bottom line is that the faculty will approve all of these courses that are included in this index. It will have to be revisited annually. If people want to add courses, we'll have an opportunity for institutions to revise their syllabi and their courses so that they're more in line.
