I concentrated the whole year on shooting. That's my positive, scoring on my feet. I love taking someone down.

The first time we talked was right before my (state) finals match. He came up and said, 'Take 'em out'... and he slapped my hands during grand march.

Last year I came in and I was in awe. The first year, you're like 'wow, I finally made it.' You get a little panicked. That's the one thing I tried not to do this year and it paid off.

I just try to stay in good position all the time. Always being on the offense doesn't allow him to put any of his game on me. Me always being on the offensive means he's always on the defensive and he's never able to shoot on me.
