Troy Christian really gave us a good match. There was a lot of pressure on Pat to deliver, and, to his credit, he stayed focused. I'm so proud of all these kids and our coaches.

This was a new feeling this year. I've never felt that sense of urgency heading into the final round like we felt (last night). To Pat's credit, he didn't let that get to him. He went out and did his job.

If it wasn't for what Troy did in getting to the state finals, we wouldn't have been in position to win this state title. He'll be back again next year. He's a great kid who will have plenty of other chances.
