We have nothing to lose. We're just going to go in there and compete and play hard.
I thought in the second half we turned it up a notch.
I am really proud of these guys and can't say enough about them.
John Young is our unsung hero. The kid shuts down everyone's best player. He is the best defender around. I am so proud of the kid. He does not get a lot of credit because he only scores seven points a game. Nobody sees what John Young does for us. He has done a fabulous job, that is why he is our captain.
We are very very fortunate to get out of here with a win.
It comes down to those kids. Our five seniors are great leaders. We have great kids who are on one page. That's what it takes and that's what we got (in the district championship game).
This is a building block. We are getting better, the kids are starting to learn the offense and the flow and I'm proud of them. I think we are playing discipline basketball and our sportsmanship is there.
Same thing all year. These kids have hearts of lions. They worked their butts off. When we were down by 14, I knew we were going to make a run.
