I've been told the most wins in school history is 13.

The Marion County loss was a roll-over effect from the Florida tournament. We weren't loose or ready. Once the weather warmed up, we relaxed and buckled down. We began to play through mistakes.

This was a good game to help heal some of the pain from the run in the All A Classic and to allow for some of the other guys to get plenty of playing time.

He's been unreal. He's on fire at the plate and has carried us in a lot of our games.

Lee has been a lot of our offensive power.

He did a fine job on the mound and our defense did the job behind him. I've told these young men all along our pitching staff isn't going to be the type to just overpower a team and they have to be ready to make that big play at any time for this team to be successful. Our pitchers know if they hit their spots and have control, our defense is able to make plays and that's what happened last night.

I stress a walk equates into a run.

In the past, the kids haven't been strong enough to recover from mistakes. Monday, we had several errors against Washington County that allowed four unearned runs in the first two innings, but we came back and put the bat on the ball and minimized mistakes at the end.

He probably threw the best game I've seen him throw in his career.
