He is a retired American soccer defender (association football)/defender who played professionally in Mexico and Major League Soccer. He earned three cap (sports)/caps with the United States men's national soccer team.

That's two games in a row now that we've had shutouts. I thought our forwards did a pretty good job of working hard. Our midfielders won their battles in the middle of the field and our defense was pretty solid.

They made it difficult for us in the beginning. They basically played in a 3-6-1 formation. They put a lot of guys behind the ball. It was hard for us to really carve through them.
