"Jordan Melissa Hasay" is an United States/American female middle-distance runner. She grew up in Arroyo Grande, California/Arroyo Grande, attending Mission College Preparatory High School/Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School. She was unanimously selected 2008 Girls High School Athlete of the Year by the voting panel at Track and Field News/Track & Field News. She became only the ninth high school athlete ever (and third woman) to grace the cover of Track and Field News magazine, on its March 2009 issue. She currently attends the University of Oregon, where she studies business administration and competes on their cross country and track & field teams. She has a family background in sports as her father was a high school basketball star in Pennsylvania and her mother was a national level swimmer in her native England.

Anything I do will be put up. Sometimes it's a lot of pressure. If you do bad, you know people are gonna say, ?Oh, she's burnt out or she's not training right.' Personally, I don't think you can burn out, unless you hate it and you really don't like what you're doing.

Eventually, I'd like to make it to the Olympic Trials in 2008. I'd just like to make it to the trials at least. If I don't make the Olympics, I'd definitely like to make it in 2012. But right now, I'm just focusing on Saturday.
