The coaches just told me to have a short memory. They said this was my first start, so have a short memory and play like I know how to play.

I hated special teams in junior college, but up here, I actually like it. I learned to step it up a notch on defense and special teams. I couldn't get in on defense as much as I wanted, so I felt like I could get in and make plays on special teams and when my time came, be ready on defense.

It was shocking. They had 300 yards in the first half. When coach told us that, our eyes got big.

I just went up for the ball and made the play. The offense was successful in their running game, so when they threw it up, we knew we had to make plays. The defense did pretty good, but there is still room for improvement.

We were lackadaisical. (The coaches) made some good calls, but we didn't make the plays like we usually do. They caught us off-guard a couple times.

That was one of the big reasons I didn't want to go there. I've got a couple of buddies that play for LSU. They've been calling on the phone, but I haven't been answering. It's something I've been dreaming about. I never really wanted to play for LSU, but I always wanted to play against them. It will be a big game for me.
