We've been coming so close. We just don't have that one player who will put the rest of the team on her back and take them the rest of the way. I've got plenty of girls with talent but no one has stepped to the podium yet.

We played and did everything right except score the last two points. We made a lot of good plays but shot ourselves in the foot in the end.

We lost going full throttle, but we've taken some important steps forward. The girls are coming together very well.

Winning's a difficult thing to start for a program that has lost a lot in recent years. It's hard to break tradition and hopefully we'll accomplish that soon. We need to bring our practice ethics to the game.
