Honestly, it was the best week of my life.
At first, when we got there, I didn't think it was going to be all that great. There were a lot of girls that looked like they were more worried about if there were going to be bugs and things like that. But really everybody came together and the people who knew the roofing or the painting were teaching the people that didn't we all clicked.
We worked our asses off. We got three houses re-roofed, we rebuilt a complete house, and that was just [with] the crew of 36.
