We change our meters on a regular basis. When the meter was replaced in 2004, there was a zero in the wrong spot, causing the computer reading to be off by a decimal point.

We add all our net costs together and subtract sales to other utilities. In a good month where we sell a lot of power credits, we're able to pass that savings on to our owner-customers.

We need to look at our cash flow annually, and we keep seeing an increase in costs. Water is one place where adjustments need to be made on a fairly regular basis.

That time period has historically been a lower electricity cost time of year. However, in 2005 prices rose considerably due to the high cost of natural gas and other fossil fuels and temperatures were below normal.

Our numbers were not current, and we needed to change those to reflect our budget.
