I felt really good. Everything was on. I was throwing strikes. I was putting the ball where I wanted to put it. It was a real good day for me today. I wasn't actually nervous at all.

It's my softer side. I go out there and relax. I'm a big fisherman. I love to fish ... in the Pacific Ocean, for tuna and rockfish.

I got up (to throw) and they told me to start hurrying up. It's kind of weird, but, hey, I got warmed up real quick. It's just all about being relaxed and doing your work out there.

I felt pretty good. I fell behind with my curve a couple of times. And they're a good-hitting fastball team.

First things first, the jitters are gone. I did what I had to do. I dreamt all through the night time hoping I'd have a great start and it came true.

I don't know where that came from, but I had it. Hopefully it stays in there.

That's something I'm probably going to go to sleep with tonight - realizing I'm a lot better pitcher than that, and I know a lot better than to throw a 3-0 fastball up in the zone and let him swing freely. If I could do it right now, I'd throw it low and away, and not care if I walked him. There were two out.

I got the jitters. I was rushing myself. This one's gone. I feel a lot better now.

I slept all through the nighttime hoping that I would pitch well. It came true.
