We stuck through. With Jon making all his shots we knew we were going to have to withstand it, and my teammates and I were able to fight through at the end. This was just a great game, there isn't much else to say but that.
It's a great honor. I'd rather have 14 points and us get the W instead.
We really got after it. They were ready. We heard they wanted revenge.
Everybody who went to that game got their money's worth. I know that for a fact. Everyone is saying that's the best game they've ever seen. It went down in history, I guess.
It was a real quiet locker room at halftime. I knew in the second half shots would start falling. We had been down a couple times like that in the regular season, but we are a tough team mentally and physically.
It was a runner and I had to come back to the ball off the double team. It looked pretty good when I let go, but I think if I would have put a little more on it, it might have banked in, but it was a good look. You can't do anything about that.
My teammates were very supportive of me tonight. They wanted me to have the ball in my hands. It was a very physical game and we knew Upper was a very good team.
Before we came out on the floor for the second half, we huddled up and I told the team it wasn't going to end like this. We responded to the challenge.
It was a runner and I had to come back to it. It was a good look.
