"Jim Shanahan" (1 June 1901 - 8 September 1985) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood Football Club/Collingwood, Carlton Football Club/Carlton and Fitzroy Football Club/Fitzroy in the Australian Football League/Victorian Football League (VFL).

Shanahan was born in Western Australia, but came to the VFL from Horsham Football Club/Horsham. A defender, he played in a back pocket for Collingwood in the 1925 VFL Grand Final and was on a half back flank in the 1926 VFL Grand Final. He finished on the losing team in both matches.

He went to Carlton for the 1927 VFL season, but only made two appearances.

In 1928 and 1929, Shanahan played at Fitzroy, then crossed to Williamstown Football Club/Williamstown in 1930.

Shanahan, who worked as a police officer, was appointed coach of Williamstown the following year but was forced to resign before the beginning of the season by the Victorian Chief Commissioner, who ruled that members of the police force couldn't be football coaches.

It's a relatively mature market. Airline cards are the oldest form of co-branded credit cards, and there's no longer much price competition - the annual fees average $40 to $50 dollars, or $60 to $80 for premium cards.

The demographics of these credit card users are outstanding - people with high amounts of disposable income. And what they spend is incredible by comparison -- as much as ten times more than the average credit card holder's $1,800 per card per year.
