I?m happy to be mentioned in the same breath as the No. 1 team. I don?t know how many people expected this and rightfully so.

We were just trying to get some respect for our young kids. These are the same kids who were ninth- and 10th-graders last year and now they're 10th- and 11th-graders.

Our defense is all young guys and we're going to make mistakes. And then (McDaniel) had a great game.

We gave up too much at the end.

We gave up too much, too early. But we'll be there in the end. We'll see them for the money when it counts.

We told them at halftime we were going to beat them. We didn't know if we would, but we thought we could. They hadn't really done anything to us. We had breakdowns on special teams. Too many new kids.

But we'll be back. We'll see them for the money -- when it counts.

We had to pull out all the stops. That kid at quarterback was elusive. We brought the house. We blitzed and tried to cover on the back end. We forced him to get rid of the ball. We pretty much wore him down.

The expectation is that their operations will continue pretty much as [they have] been in the past.
