Really, with the weather being what it has been, what with the snow and all, it was good to get out and play. All things considered, we did a nice job. I'm proud of the way we played and I think the girls are pretty satisfied. We've got some things to work on, but we did more good things than bad.

Some of them have been four-year players. They bring leadership, understanding and maturity. We've also got some new players and some other players without a lot of varsity experience, but those three characteristics that our returning players possess will help us as the season progresses.

When we keep the ball on the ground and play to each other's feet, things usually turn out well for us.

We had a couple opportunities and if they didn't sneak a peek (before shooting) we might have had one (earlier). We shot the ball quickly and right at the keeper. But all things considered, I'm pretty happy.

We had multiple opportunities to move the ball around when we played feet.

We're going to have to find some different ways to score because of that, but we'll still attack. We hope to score as much as we did last year.

We're still kind of feeling our way along. We need to find our identity and begin playing with more consistency, but this was a good win for us.

I feel pretty good about this game. This is the first time we've had everybody out there (due to injuries). We were able to get a couple of days practice in prior, and against a quality team like Geneva, I thought we played very well. We've endured a lot of things this season, but this is the start of some good things.

We should have a comparable season this year. We've worked toward that direction and we hope to continue that way.
