The Giraffe Savannah is next to the Elephant Savannah, which really gives people a nice landscape of the African plains area.

These guys are all under 2 years old and are adjusting well. The females are out in the habitat, but Congo is a bit hesitant. He is still loitering around in the barn facility, but he'll be out moving about within a day or two.

Mrs. Turner and her husband (Cal) wanted giraffes at the zoo and worked hard along with many others to get them here. Naming one after Margaret seemed right.

Above 50 degrees, we're pretty much business as usual.

The habitat is absolutely gorgeous. It is much larger than I had anticipated. The giraffes have quite a bit of room to roam around in.
