Every one of these principals can afford to buy their own tickets as many times as they want. It's disrespectful of the chancellor to ask people working as hard as they are to give up a day on the weekend.

If we find that there's a deficit in a classroom, what are you giving us, what do you have available to us that we can use to help address that deficit. That seems to be missing from this plan.

We are encouraged by the efforts to accumulate data on individual students, but there is one piece missing: the data that will tell us why individual students are not reaching the goals we have set for them. That piece is key for principals and their staff to make a positive impact on their students.
