I think people came out to watch Stanford play. They came out to watch some of their players. When you bring in the best team in the area you just want to come out because you know it's going to be a show and you always hope that maybe your hometown team can have a huge upset.

It'll be great to have those athletes in our gym with that caliber of volleyball. You can watch it on television and you can't appreciate how hard they hit the ball. You come see it in person and it's whole different ballgame.

We're just figuring things out. We have a new setter and that's taken an adjustment. The biggest thing is trying to get in synch offensively. Once that happens, you're going to see us improve quickly.

She's strong, she jumps well and she has a dynamic arm swing. She doesn't make a lot of errors and is a very smart player.

Not one ball hit the floor that was untouched or out of control. I think we had two solid kills but everything else they played out and it was really hard to earn a point. That's a great digging and ball-handling team.
