Steve has really improved. His intensity picked up to a different level, but you can never rely on a freshman to carry your team.

We've struggled for the past couple weeks. I don't know if you can tell if you walk into a practice. We're working hard.

It really hurt his mobility.

Our mental psyche has not been real strong. But I'll say the guys haven't given up on it. We're working hard and trying to make adjustments.

There's not much he hasn't improved on. He's a really good kid who I'd do anything for after he graduates.

I don't think there's much difference between the guys who are hurt and the guys who are playing. I don't see a lot of adversity there because the guys they have playing for them deserve a lot of credit.

Our guys gutted it out. I'm really proud of them. We didn't play with any sense of urgency in the first half. That's tough to overcome. You have to have pretty much everything go right in the second half. And saying that, we had a chance to win.

If he's in uniform, that means he has served his suspension and will play.

I'm proud of our guys. We never had a bad practice and this was a fun team to coach.
