We need to keep it moving. I don't want to see Evansville all over again.

Red dirt is a big commodity because of all the growth in the area. It gives that solid foundation everybody's looking for.

We've got two basic choices before us, and that's to either go to a public utility as recommended, or stay with exactly what we're doing now. We want whatever system will save lives, because that's the bottom line for ambulance service.

People reasonably would rather not have one of these next door, but we also get complaints from people who have businesses, chicken houses, all sorts of other things nearby. It's one of those growth issues we're always dealing with, and we do the best we can to solve problems as they appear.
