That's excellent news.
It's hard to accumulate data if you haven't started early, ... Any additional time that children can have with good teachers is going to make a difference, and that was in fact part of the premise of the calendar committee when they came to the [School Board] with this recommendation. They wanted to put more instructional days prior to testing, to give children the best chance to be successful.
It's a very difficult thing to believe is going on, ... I believe they're as safe in the school with a lockdown, certainly safer than they would be out in the community right now.
These indictments which target me personally are puzzling since I work for the School Board and followed their direction during the development and distribution of the flier. I look forward to a quick and fair resolution of this matter so the important work being done in this school division can continue uninterrupted.
Many of us feel called. We hear about something like a tornado happening, and we want to help people. A lot of the time, people have spiritual needs after a time like this. After each job, we like to ask the owners of the house to pray with us. A lot of people tell us the prayer does them more good than anything else.
They are what they are. There's not going to be any doctoring or cutting pieces out.
We just needed that one rebound and that could have been the difference. That could be the difference between winning and losing these games. They gave it everything they had. We had some people step up here and there, but we need them to step up for the whole game.
It reaffirmed my faith in government. The dollar isn't king. They looked at it and analyzed it and took the high moral road.
