We have mentioned soccer hooliganism to students who are headed to Europe in orientation. We have certainly highlighted it this year, with the World Cup coming to Germany. I think we might issue an extra statement and suggest students do not don any colors because they won't know where they are seated and what risk they might incur.

The U of I is well placed to make such calls, and there are a great number of resources we have access to that help us assure that we make prudent decisions. We can still say no.
