"Jennifer Louise "Jenny" Macklin" is an Australian politician. She was Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (Australia)/Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs from 3 December 2007 until 18 September 2013. She served in the Ministries of both Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard. She was previously Deputy Leader of the Labor Party, serving from 2001 until 2006. She currently serves as the Shadow Cabinet of Australia/Shadow Minister for Disability Reform. She has been a member of the Australian House of Representatives since March 1996, representing the Division of Jagajaga, Victoria.
