I want these girls to take away (from the conference) that they can be anything. They can do anything. I want them to consider all of their options and have them recognize the reality that they will be in the paid work force. . . . If family is a major priority, I want them to know what they need to do to be prepared for whatever happens.

The only person who can guarantee your life is you. You never know if your husband is going to die, lose his job, become disabled; we want these girls to be prepared for whatever life brings them so they can have productive lives.
