You have to have a police officer to accept a prisoner. The (Waterford Township) police department has been great in working with us. Safety is always a concern. That is always something the court is looking at.

We think the video arraignment is a great project. It's one of the best ideas the county has come up with. You don't have to transport the prisoners.
