Shaw was selected to the National League Major League Baseball All-Star Game/All-Star team twice (1998 and 2001). We were down by fifteen, and then in the fourth quarter we made some critical turnovers that cost us the game.

I'm real proud of the way the kids played.

The students are helping their high school, they work hard, and it's a good product.

We have been struggling. We let a team get into the game. and when a team goes up on you by 18 points it is hard to come back. We just got in some trouble with turnovers early on and that hurt us.

We battled all the way through. We were up in the first quarter and then we went down by four at the end of the quarter. We don't have as much talent as some other teams, but one thing my kids do have is a lot of heart.

Jeff has been struggling a little bit, but tonight he came to play. We don't have as much talent as the other teams do, but what we do have is hard work. We just worked really hard tonight. Tonight we just worked really hard and came up short.
