"Jeffrey Robert Hoffman" is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He previously played college baseball for East Carolina University. Named the best prospect (sports)/prospect in the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2013, he was expected to be among the top selections in the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft. The Blue Jays drafted him with the ninth overall selection. In January 2015, Hoffman was ranked 87th on MLB's Top 100 Prospects of 2015 list.
