If the Church is right, then people have some serious questions to answer.

Interpreting Jesus' command to eat His flesh and drink His blood as a metaphor … is not enough, ... The logic is there to be seen: Jesus feeds the people literal bread. He offers literal eternal life to those who literally believe in him.

Across time and culture and different religions, marriage has been the basic unit of the family, which is the basic unit of society.

Anyone who has sat down intending to read through the entire Bible can attest to the difficulty. We are used to starting a book at the beginning and reading through to the end. Events follow each other in a linear fashion and build on each other. But the Bible is not like that.

The Church offers the real meal.
