It's obviously a big win for us. We went up there in a situation where if the postseason had started before the game, we would have been out, but now we've got a chance to host a prelim if we take care of business the rest of the way.

The kids kept hanging around. We were coming off a loss to MDI where we played pretty well but didn't finish well, and the kids took that to heart.

I think one of the keys was at the end of the first quarter being down only three points.

Three home runs in a night and a bases-clearing double isn't bad. He had a pretty good night at the plate and we got some more production from some other guys in our lineup. That's the key to us winning.

The first five games we saw some great pitching and we just weren't hitting a whole lot. We were averaging just under four hits a game and then we went down to West Craven and saw some good arms down there, but we decided to hit and made some adjustments in practice. It's kind of like we're getting better, we're getting a little bit better and now we're getting very good.

A lot of people are paying attention now because people are wondering, as we overmedicate our society, is there something else that it could possibly be, that we're missing?

It's been the story of our season; we're just not swinging the bats well. We haven't swung it well since the beginning of the year. We're going to have to find a way to make some adjustments at the plate and get better.

We are creating the media - many of them are coming from Newhouse. The mindset that creates this kind of context will continue right into the media world.
