Realmente es un momento más agridulce de mi vida, es extremadamente decepcionante.

I'm just waiting to see what he says.

The confidence that coach (John) Ellinger has in me and the organization's desire to make me Real Salt Lake's inaugural player is inspiring.

Maybe some of it is the fact we're an expansion team, and I cannot stand the fact that's such an easy excuse, ... I'm a member of this team, I'm the leader of this team, and I take responsibility for how the team plays.

While I am extremely disappointed to not be available to my Real Salt Lake teammates as we push for the fourth and final Western Conference playoff spot, I fully expect to come back for the 2006 MLS season quicker and stronger than ever, ... I expect to meet with U.S. Soccer's top surgeon, Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, the week of September 26 to determine my medical course of acti.

[?] For me, it has to be mentality, ... We have to go into games with the mentality that we're not going to give away goals in the first 15 minutes. When you give away goals in the first 15 minutes of a game, you're going to find it tough to get results.

The strange thing is, at this stage of my career, it's so hard for me to separate individual from team, ... So much of my focus is on the team. Maybe it's because I wear the (captain's) arm band every week. Maybe it's because I'm maturing as a person. I'm not really sure what it is.

Personally, I've felt physically good every game, I feel I've definitely put my best foot forward every game.

[?] Probably the most bittersweet moment of my life right now, ... Has to be one of the best goals I've ever taken in this league. I'm going to be proud of that one for sure. I'll look back on that one on video for years and years, but I am extremely, extremely disappointed with the result.
