Something just happened in the third quarter. I can't really tell you what.
We have to let loose.
Keith, Richard and Jino have been pretty steady so far and one of my top players in Anthony Cook didn't play because he was sick. Next week he'll be all right. I'm pretty happy with some of our progress.
It feels great. We needed this win and we got it. We all were part of it, just by hanging in there.
This was huge, getting this win.
That's out of us now. We've had two lessons on that, made some mistakes and not taken advantage of opportunities and now we're going to let loose, play solid football and take advantage of the opportunities we do get and limit our mistakes.
It was a great feeling last year.
Being from Colorado, a lot of my friends are up there. It's going to be nice to go up there again. The last time I played up there, we lost. We get a second crack at it. We just have to go up there, play a great game and come out on top.
You?re just drained after a game like this. With all the energy and emotion you put in, with the way (DeSalvo) pitched, you have to get that win. It would have been so disheartening to have lost.
