We have been made to feel so welcome ever since we got to Thompson.

At this point, we're just going to try to play well and win our games. We're doing our best out here, we'll keep doing it (today) and see what happens. You know, five (losses) often isn't out, might not be out. The record, obviously it's disappointing, but not for a lack of effort and giving it everything out there. It just hasn't been going our way this week.

We've been throwing the rocks pretty well, I'm not putting the broom where we need to put it. I'm not reading the ice very well, which is part of our problem. But we've got to make the shots when we have the opportunity, and we haven't been doing that. When there's a door open, we're not going in.

It's (2-5) not very good obviously. We're trying our best out here, and we'll just keep plugging away (today). There's always hope ... until somebody tells me we're out.

She's actually a pretty even-keeled kid. Nothing seems to faze her. She's not awestruck by anything. She's actually more of a calming influence than anybody on the team, and she's just a kid.

For sure, it's the best year I've ever had. We had a really good cash year, and sometimes it's difficult to follow that up with a provincial title, which we were able to do. So definitely this has been a pretty good year for us -- so far.

I thought we played well, and we're happy with the win. We just need to put a lot of wins together now.
