I thought both teams showed up ready to play. This is our recovery week, and not everybody's playing at their best. But this win got us back into gear.

We had to shift our lineup because of injuries. We proved we could adjust to the environment even though they may not be our strongest pairs. We will go back to our original lineup as soon as our players all get healthy. But right now we are just concentrating on this competition, rest and then prepare for the weekend.

Both teams are a rank lower than us. But they are still threats because they are in our conference and have pushed us in the past.

It was a very good start. She started the season 6-0, and now we're hoping she can finish without a loss.

It was our first match (since the Cardinal). It was definitely good for us to play. I agree not everybody was ready because it was a recovery week.

We don't foresee any problems (against Santa Clara). Of course they are a little stronger than last year. We have decided not to take any game for granted either.

We came out on one and two doubles and didn't play within our game. We calmed down and played within our game in singles. We have pushed Stanford more than any other team and we will just get more confident in the next month and a half.

Last year, she won 15 matches in a row, and fell into a rut this past fall. But she had a great attitude and has been working hard.

Stephanie and (Cristina) were both struggling earlier with illness. But they are great friends which translates to great chemistry on the doubles court.
