I've been seeing the ball real well and they threw a lot of fastballs so I just sat back and waited. Hitting in the middle of the lineup has been great for me and hitting a double now and then helped keep the team going.
Then I found out that I probably wouldn't be accepted because of shin splints and some allergies. It was really disappointing. It was really hard to take after dreaming about this for so long.
It was awesome. When that notification came in the mail, it was a huge weight off my shoulders.
At this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to want to make the army a career. I'm just excited and honored to have been accepted. It's a great opportunity for me and a privilege.
He treats a girl just like he would treat a guy, and he makes them work just as hard as he would a guy.
