Our goal now is to get all three to states. I think that's a realistic goal.

I hate to see the kid that picks up the paper tomorrow and sees who they have to wrestle as a fifth seed. I mean we beat a champ last year, so we're not scared. We've been in this position before. It's all about qualifying right now, and next week we'll take it one match at a time.

I basically just told him that if we wrestle our match, nobody is going to beat us. Once we know we could beat him, that swings the confidence in our direction.

Joe was two points away from beating the guy that won (Kyle John). It was closer than we expected. He wrestled a lot better this week then he did last week in the finals. Third as a freshman is quite an accomplishment. He's only the second kid from our school to make states as a freshman.
