I was very pleased with our play on Friday and Saturday. Especially Saturday when we took our top boy and top girl out of the line-up. These kids stepped it up and won both matches.
Billy and Ted lost in a 12-10 tiebreaker and Ted really held up his end in the match.
Zach and Andre won a tiebreaker 10-7 and played great together. They were outstanding, especially since they had never been teamed up before.
We really count on these two for consistent play, and they always come through.
I was extremely impressed with all the players today. Juliano and Travis were outstanding for the boys and Ashley played a terrific match for the girls.
I was really pleased with most of the matches. What the score does not reflect is the six matches that we lost were in the third-set tiebreaker. These matches could have gone either way.
Jayme and Clyde were put together at the last minute and did a great job today.
I was extremely pleased at the teams' overall performance. It was very hot and these players stayed focused and took care of the business at hand.
