His best position is tailback and he's more comfortable there, but we may continue to use him there (at receiver) because he's such a threat. Any city game is huge. I don't think it means any more or less than any city game. They're all up there tied with each other.

To our kids' credit, I liked how our defense competed in the second half. We'll build on that. I think our kids will bounce back (next week against rival Normal West). I don't think they are going to think about this game too long.

Let's give some credit to Mattoon. They played very well.

That's a major blow to us offensively. He looked so good this summer and the first two weeks of practice. We had to redirect our offense. He was going to be a force for us.

I thought he was at least the co-MVP in the league last year. It looks like he's stronger and he's running harder than he did a year ago. He's an elite player, and he's got a nice group of blockers in front of him. He's powerful, fast and he can cut. He's got the whole package.
