Most of the clients are displaced at this point.
We only have the circus once a year. I'd like to see another big turnout.
I'm looking forward to it. I love to help put it on. When it's over, you really appreciate what you've done.
Any child under 12 will be there as my guest.
This is a really good circus. It has lions, tigers, dogs, monkeys and about any other animal act you can think of. There are a lot of great acts, and it's a two part, two hour show.
The transportation money provides a ride, lodging and meals for children who need to go to our hospitals in Shreveport and Galveston.
Shriners opened their first hospital in 1923. Our main objective is to provide orthopedic and burn care to underprivileged children.
The proceeds are used for the operation of the Bedouin Shrine Temple and to support our transportation department.
Our office is in pretty good shape, but the building itself had some damage. We're setting up a temporary location in Baton Rouge.
