We're just trying to manage the discomfort that he's having.

We just need to nurse him and bring him back. There's a little bit of fear in him. He's starting to get over that fear, especially by playing catch.

It's very common. He had it last year, but not the way we're doing it now. We're giving him (an injection) every week.

Scott is a fine-tuned machine, and he's got to be running on all cylinders. That's his mentality. When he's got a little bump in the road, it takes him a little while to get through that bump, but he's going to be fine.

(Today) will be a big day because we'll get the results, get the report, one of our shoulder guys is coming in from Chicago. We'll be able to put all the pieces of the puzzle that we got together.

He said everything went well. He'll crank it up even more [Saturday] and be ready to go on Sunday.

He's stuck with it forever.
