Dr. Martin Luther King, his whole agenda was good works, and in the labor world we all have the day off. So instead of sitting at home, watching television, we decided to come out and do some good throughout the community. And this is the result of it, this is our seventh annual clothing and food drive.

It's going to take more than one group or organization to bring about change. It's going to take the mothers, the fathers, the clergy, government and all of the alliances as a whole, to continue the legacies of the Doctor Kings, the Rosa Parks and the Coretta Scott Kings.
