"Heather Cook" is a suffragan Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America/Episcopal Church for the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland/Diocese of Maryland.

In 2014, the diocese elected Cook as its first female bishop and she was consecrated as suffragan to Bishop Eugene Sutton. Cook was one of four finalists for the office of Bishop. Cook was elected on the fourth ballot. Cook was the List of bishops of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America/1,081st Bishop consecrated in the Episcopal Church.

However, Cook was placed on administrative leave at the end of 2014 after involvement in a traffic fatality in north Baltimore. Bishop Cook was charged with drunk driving, texting while driving, and leaving the scene of the crime, in addition to vehicular manslaughter. On January 22, 2015 the standing committee of the diocese requested that Bishop Cook resign her position. This was followed by Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori placing formal restrictions on Cook, preventing her from presenting herself as an ordained minister of the Episcopal Church.

I think he decided to give himself a birthday present.

It had been my hope to offer a reduced membership fee to offset the incremental cost to the high-end users with a trail fee, but since I've now been given a new set of numbers I can no longer support that.
